You will be involved primarily in transfer pricing compliance, i.e. preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports for the shipping and logistics businesses under the supervision of experienced colleagues.
Secondly, you may be involved in ad-hoc legally related documentation tasks and more complex day-to-day transfer pricing issues from around the world.
You will cooperate with many internal and external stakeholders and obtain a strong international network of contacts in the finance functions throughout the businesses of Maersk.
We will expect you to follow developments within international transfer pricing legislation and as necessary participate in courses and seminars.
We expect the ideal candidate to be an ambitious student in the final year of a relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g. BSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law, BSc in Law, BSc in Economics, or similar) and is starting on a relevant Master's degree in 2020, to be completed in 2022.
Having completed courses and/or electives in tax and contract law is a plus but not a prerequisite.

• Advanced Excel skills
You are also highly reliable with a flexible approach to whatever work you undertake, have the ability to take the initiative, to prioritise and to organise your workload. Furthermore, a positive and open mind set in combination with a sense of humour is essential.
You are fluent in English (speaking and writing) whereas Danish is not a prerequisite. The number of working hours will on average be 20 hours/week, depending on the specific periods of the financial year, exams etc.
