Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Quality Engineer who are able to understand products from end-user perspective and who can ensure the delivery of quality solutions to the customers. As Quality Engineer with focus on APQP & QMS development, your mission will be to drive customer confidence by ensuring the quality of Connect & Control Solutions (CCS) future products and processes. You will be the voice of the customer in coaching and developing. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, during product and process design within the development phase.Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Support quality integration in New Product Development projects.
  • Provide training in quality core tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D).

  • Support QMS transition process, with a local QMS system compliant to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.

  • Share best practices within Connect & Control Solutions (CCS) facilities. 

  • Audit according to ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016 standards. 

Background and skillsTo be considered for this position, you should have an educational background in B.Sc./M.Sc. in engineering or similar. You have a minimum of 5 years solid hands-on experience working with quality in projects, as well as:

  • Self-starter – be proactive in determining goals and objectives and in pursuing the necessary course of action.
  • Advance Knowledge of Change Management (IATF 16949:2016, VDA 6).

  • Advanced knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP).

  • Broad knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016.

On a more personal note, you have high interpersonal skills. You are a strong communicator and have a positive and open mind. You are proactive and have a keen perception, a strong team spirit and can build relations and cooperate across borders and cultures.
