Danfoss is looking for a Mechanical Engineer or experienced Technician within design of Heat Exchangers for the industrial market applications to join our journey towards the development ofa new generation of heat exchangers with a huge market potential. We are approx. 30 employees in our Global R&D function, which covers areas such as Product Research, Product Design, Customer Projects and Production tools. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Drive and lead heat exchanger modelling and mechanical design projects.
- Create design verification procedures and conduct performance tests.
- Build further functional excellence of heat exchanger design and performance analysis.
You will be a key person in the R&D and Product Engineering team and report to the Director of the Product Design department. Your work base will be Kolding, Denmark. Background and skillsYour qualifications should be:
- M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering or experienced mechanical technician.
- 3+ years of experience with specification, design, and development of mechanical products.
- Knowledge within design of welded products and pressure vessel constructions are preferred.
- User experience with 2D/3D CAD tools.
- Good project leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills in Danish and English.
