At Danfoss we are currently looking for a Sales Development Manager (m/v/d) preferably located in Denmark, Sweden or Finland or other locations in Europe.

This sales development and customer-focused position plays a vital part in Danfoss Power Solutions, business unit Connect & Control Solutions. You will become a part of a European Sales Development team. Together with Sales & Marketing you will support our customers on their challenges. Present product roadmaps, explain new technologies, support on released products and be the voice of the customer when it comes to new product developments. 

Your day to day activities and responsibilities will consist of establishing account strategies, product platforms and profitability targets. Besides establishing the strategies and targets you are also responsible to execute the strategies and obtain the targets at your assigned accounts within your region. You support the product marketing managers with product launches in the European region and provide them with input regarding price levels, product qualifiers and the recommended price optimizations. Check progress with the Account Managers, execute available opportunities and visit our customers. Strengthen and nurture the Danfoss core competency and know how to ensure that our customers experience the "Unique Customer Experience". Last but not least, communicate the voice of our customers by sharing current and future technical mobile market needs within your team and our other stakeholders.

Background and skills

To be successful in this position you need to have an educational and commercial background in Business Entrepreneurship and or mechanical/electrical engineering combined with a completed bachelor and or master's degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar international working environment.

Additionally, we would like to see:

  • That you have knowledge and experience in electronics for mobile off-road applications;

  • Experience in distribution market and or with remote controls is to be considered as a major advantage;

  • Possess a strong personal drive, are proactive, self-driven and are able to work out of a home office;

  • You are skilled and have developed strong communication and networking capabilities;

  • Have no objections to travel (approximately 40%);

  • Have fluent speaking and writing skills for the English language. If you are able to fluently write and speak the Spanish and or the German language, that will be considered as a major plus.
