Danfoss Group IT is looking for an experienced Embedded Application Software Engineer to help Danfoss in its transformation journey towards a digital service company. In this role, it will be your job to contribute to all phases of the development process of new IoT Solutions including requirement gathering, solution architecture, and software development and to collaborate with the IoT e2e Architect. It will also be your responsibility to register new and existing components in the CMDB and create transparency in dependencies. Furthermore, you will support colleagues from various development teams in the use of agreed software development toolsets and participate in global cross-functional project teams. The position can be located in either Nordborg or Copenhagen, Denmark or in Hamburg, Germany.  

Background and skills

To be considered for the position we expect you to:

  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the area of embedded software development including knowledge of software processes, design and test practices.

  • Have a track record of solving real customer specific requirements with embedded software solutions.

  • Master's degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical field.

  • Proven ability to implement change in the organization as necessary.

  • Willingness to travel to both domestic and international locations (engineering and manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customers).

  • Have a high degree of integrity, honesty and a positive attitude, and you have a natural interest in IT business in general.
  • Communicate effortlessly using written and spoken English.
