Danfoss Residential Heating is looking for a Project Engineer with mechatronics background to join Danfoss’ Burner Components organization that manufactures high-end oil burner components. As our new Project Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to drive and lead product changes across all product areas and to fulfill future RoHS compliance requirements through cost neutral solutions. Your tasks include mechanical component design/redesign, and implementation and product validation of mechanical and electronic products. You will utilize your electronic engineering skills and your experience from participating in or leading electronic product engineering projects within both cost-down and new product development, to succeed in this role.
Furthermore, we expect you to grow into a higher responsibility over time by taking on the role as product responsible or Project Manager within electronics.
You will be working in a dynamic environment close to customers, vendors, and the supply chain, and you will be working in close cooperation with experienced colleagues within product engineering as well as other departments including purchasing and quality. You will be part of an experienced team that supports each other in order to reach ambitious goals.
Background and skills
To be considered for this role, you should hold a mechatronics engineering degree at Bachelor’s or Master´s level, or alternatively, you hold an electronics engineering degree and have a strong interest in and flair for mechanical engineering. We expect you to have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience. If you have graduated recently and along with this have gained solid and proven professional experience as an electronics technician or similar, you will also be considered.
