Danfoss Residential Heating is looking for an experienced Project Quality Manager to our R&D department which develops advanced state-of-the-art electronic and mechatronic controls products. Reporting to the R&D Director, you will have the overall responsibility for Quality (e.g. PTAP) and planning of Quality activities in projects, and you will be acting as the functional mentor for the Quality team. As our new Project Quality Manager, you will be the center of technical expertise in Q-processes, test automation, tools and techniques, and agile testing across the teams. We expect you to take clearly leadership on defining and enforcing a structured and standardized test strategy, methodology, and test framework which will be used across all the different projects.
You will be part of a driven and highly specialized Quality Assurance team of seven team members, and have a large degree of collaboration with colleagues within and outside of R&D. There must be expected some travel activity in this position. Background and skillsTo be considered for this position, you should have at least 4 years of professional experience as part of an R&D organization, where you have gained knowledge of quality management in projects. Your educational background is a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Electronic, Mechatronics and/or Software Engineering or equivalent, and a well-equipped toolbox is required including Six Sigma Green Belt or similar. Knowledge of either IATF16949, ISO9001, or EN17025 quality management standards is also required.
