Are you a strong salesperson? Are you appreciating the importance of understanding the customer’s needs, finding the right solutions and ensuring a unique level of service? And do you want to contribute to strengthening TEFCOLD’s position in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxemburg selling commercial cooling equipment through distribution and wholesale customers, and thereby contributing to the company’s continued growth? Then you may be the Area Sales Manager we are looking to hire on behalf of TEFCOLD based in Viborg. You will become part of a company with strong family values, a healthy financial situation and ambitions to grow – and your contribution will be a visible part of this picture. 

Develop sales in defined categories across French speaking markets
With reference to the CCO and as part of a fairly large sales organisation with strong internal support you will have the responsibility for expanding and maintaining TEFCOLD’s market position in sales of plug-in cooling equipment to French speaking markets. Typical customers are distributors in commercial cooling equipment, companies specializing in HORECA products, shop equipment companies, manufacturers of bar equipment etc. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring a constant and healthy pipeline of orders in the French speaking markets
  • Handling of large existing TEFCOLD distribution and whole sales customers
  • New customer handling from lead qualification to first order
  • Presentation and customer training in technical product specifications and commercial selling points
  • Participation in fairs
  • Price calculations and negotiation
  • React to trend and market demands and thereby contributing with ideas for new product solutions

You will become part of an organisation on an exciting development journey, and you will work closely together with colleagues in sales and marketing. Thus, when you are not travelling, you will be at the office in Viborg for knowledge sharing. The company culture is characterised by ambition, open communication, constant learning and customer focus. Furthermore, the communication is informal and down-to-earth. You should expect 70-90 days of travelling per year.

French speaking independent and proactive salesperson, highly reliable and trust-worthy
You probably have a relevant commercial education, preferably at Bachelor level, and you have gained solid experience in creating relations in technical B2B sales with a strong track record. You understand the business dynamics in French speaking markets, and you know how to get through to the customer and strike a deal. As a person, you are both result-oriented and a team player, but with the ability and maturity to act alone most of the time with discipline, and you have a high level of self-motivation. You are capable of handling both the individual customer and relating to the company’s entire business based on the view that quality, service and credibility are crucial in business relations. You possess good communicative skills and tact, and you instinctively show resourcefulness, both externally and internally in the company. Furthermore, you have the ability to think in a complex and creative way, and you are able to sell solutions and not only products. Last, but not least, you speak and write excellent French and English.
