Danfoss Drives is looking for a Development Engineer to join our professional Mechanical Product Engineering team. Position is located in Gråsten, Denmark. If you take the challenge as our new Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and introducing customer driven product adaptations at the same time taking care of the cost and quality optimization of the design. You will participate in project handovers coming from Research & Development department. In this position, you will also support our running production in case of production stops which means that priorities can change rapidly. Finally, to be successful in this position you’ll have close co-operation with production, procurement and other internal stakeholders in all levels as well as relevant suppliers.
Background and Skills
We are expecting you to have Engineering Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanics, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. We appreciate a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience within Production or R&D. Preferably, you have knowledge within design and production of electromechanical parts such as coils and fans as well as mechanical parts like aluminum die casting, extruded aluminum and sheet metal. Furthermore, you’ll need to have:
- Experience in designing electromechanical / mechanical products
- Experience in maintaining products in running production
- Good communication skills in Danish and English, both written and spoken
- Some knowledge of SAP, Creo and PLM Teamcenter

You have a professional curiosity and an open mind, both of which you use to acquire new knowledge, find alternative solutions and adapt to new workflows.
