Danfoss is looking for a Global Sales Excellence Director for our Cooling Global Sales team who are passionate about sales, sales processes and influencing sales growth. As Global Sales Excellence Director, you will lead a global team and support the global sales organizations on development towards a best-in-class sales organization by driving the implementation and transformation of sales models and processes, managing functions essential to support sales force productivity in salesforce operation excellence, engine room operations, performance management, capability building of sales teams and business operations and intelligence.
 
Your other areas of responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead sales improvement projects in line with business priorities.
  • Deploy existing and new standardized sales processes and sales tools (e.g. Sales Operating Model, Salesforce.com, sales enablement processes/tools, daily management tools).
  • Be accountable for adherence to sales/pipeline health scorecard, pipeline accuracy and overall sales predictability and transparency.
  • Work within a global team of peers to improve sales excellence (strategy and deployment). 

This position will be in either Nordborg, Kolding, Vejle or Silkeborg with at least one day in Nordborg weekly.

Background and skills
The successful candidate holds a Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Sales and Marketing or similar experience combined with 10+ years’ experience within sales, business development, sales transformation or finance. Furthermore, you:
 

  • are experienced in sales management, sales performance coaching and sales excellence with a strong affinity for continuous improvement.
  • have strong analytical skills and good strategic thinking while also having hands-on implementation skills.
  • are familiar with working in a global matrix organization.
  • have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can work in small and large groups and all levels of the organization.
  • have excellent presentation and argumentation skills and ability to transfer the key messages in a convincing way.
  • are able to build connections, credibility and exert influence in the markets.
  • are willing to travel globally.
