• Communicate architecture to stakeholders with different levels of technical knowledge, including business leaders
• Overall architecture responsibility for the assigned domain and assist in development of the project portfolio for the domain
• Analyze business needs, identify relevant solution scenarios and translate them into architectural models and roadmaps aligned to Enterprise Architecture principles
• Identify and co-develop enterprise architecture principles & guidelines
• Create and communicate shared view of solution architecture and best practice including design principles & patterns, technology, tools and standards, interfaces, etc.
• Work with delivery teams to develop sustainable and achievable solutions & verifying the implementation ensuring the delivered system is consistent with the agreed architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as focal point and subject matter expert for applications in the Corporate financial management (non-SAP) Capability
• Responsible for translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural model that outlines the most appropriate software design to achieve critical business objectives.
• Working with enterprise architecture, solution architecture as well as application and infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design
• Providing timely design decisioning and recommendations based on IT and Business strategy. Demonstrates consideration of wide range perspective with focus on architecture decisions and focus on business objectives and IT NFRs
• Developing enterprise level application and integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features
• Working and designing with a DevOps mindset to further the continuous integration and deployment evolution
• Researching and applying knowledge of emerging technologies and possible application to the business
• Acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent
• Demonstrates business acumen including knowledge of current sector, competition and business strategies and tactics

Who we are looking for

• Typically 5 to 10 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 5+ years of relevant architecture experience
• Requires advanced knowledge and understanding of architecture, application systems design and integration
• Requires experience with IT Governance and Lifecycle Processes as well as proven experience in solution design
• Previous roles might include IT Analyst, Programmer, Application or Solution Architect
• experience supporting global ERP system implementations / upgrades desired but not essential
• Customer focus

• Architecture modelling experience, ArchiMate desired but is not essential as training will be provided
• API + event centric and abstract service design
• Cloud technologies, microservice design, cloud native apps desired but not essential
• ERP experience, ideally IFS knowledge desired but is not essential
• Knowledge of asset management desired but not essential
