Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC) is looking for a Customer Quality Manager (CQM) with base in both Kolding and Nordborg. Your role is to ensure quality for selected Key Account customers in Europe, including handling of customer complaints and to participate in crisis teams when major quality issues arise. You will support problem solving teams using 8D methodology across Danfoss factories and sales to ensure on-time and proper quality actions towards complaints. Overall it is your responsibility to ensure that our key customers perceive Danfoss as a highly responsive and responsible partner. Furthermore, you will, for selected projects, participate to ensure customer requirements and interests are integrated during New Product Development projects. Working with colleagues across multiple functions and locations is key to success in this role. You can expect approximately up to 50% travel (locally and regionally) per year, primarily to customers, partners and our factories.

As a person you are robust and know how to stick to your decisions when facing challenges. You have a qualitative approach to solving problems and to customer service, and you are from nature result and target-driven. You are independent, and you are able to maintain a general view and address many different tasks at a time without losing focus. 

Background and skills

To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor’s in engineering, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Preferable 3-6 years’ experience working with quality using IATF16949 or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills required
  • Experience in using problem Solving Tools (8D, Six Sigma, TS Quality Tools)
  • Experience in using production/process continuous improvement tools (kaizen, lean manufacturing)
  • Fluent and comprehensive in English
