Danfoss Business System (DBS) is looking for a skilled and passionate Agile Transformation Expert to join our team and to further develop and implement Danfoss’ best practices within agile product development and lean project management. You will use your extensive experience with all phases of product innovation and development as coach and consultant on concrete execution projects, pushing results in terms of improved time to market and return-on-investment.

Danfoss is transforming the product innovation and product lifecycle management to become agile and lean and is looking for a seasoned expert to be part of the global agile transformation program that has product innovation, development and maintenance teams and supporting organizations in scope. 

DBS is taking the lead across Danfoss to drive and support our businesses towards delivering excellence.  


Background and skills

To be considered for this position, you have significant hands on experience with agile and lean product development methodologies from either software development or mechanical/electronics development. Your proven track record rallies experience in managing product development projects in a large or medium-sized company – preferably with individual responsibility for the development of new products. Furthermore, you have worked with team setups that cover more than one country. You have a master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business or equivalent combined with a certification as Scrum Master and/or Product Owner.

  • Have experience with and are comfortable with coaching others
  • Possess strong analytical and project management skills.

You are result-driven with strong, influential communication skills and your work style is fact-based and well-structured.  Your strong and decisive personality, well-developed interpersonal skills and can-do attitude enable you to solve complex problems and create sustainable impact.Responsibilities and key tasks: 

  • Coach and train cross-functional project teams in best practice agile innovation, product development and lean project management tools and processes
  • Coach and challenge the divisional line managers to build and sustain competences for implementing and leading best practice and continuous improvement
  • Facilitate and challenge senior management to lead step change improvements
  • In collaboration with your colleagues in Danfoss Business System develop and implement processes, tools and training to support the agile transformation
  • Lead cross-organizational and cross-functional improvement projects
  • Monitor and analyze divisional product development performance
  • Set objectives for improvement together with Danfoss’ divisions and support divisions in achieving the targets.

Preferably, you will work out of Danfoss headquarter in Nordborg, Denmark. However, we operate everywhere that our businesses, partners, and customers may be, and you must be flexible and willing to travel extensively.
