Position Overview

The position as Sales Development Manager, Denmark, reports to the Regional Sales Director for Northern Europe. You will be part of the sales team covering Scandinavia, UK and Eire. The main part of the team works out of UR’s premises in Odense, Denmark. You will be responsible for lead generation through active sales, sales & marketing activities as well as assist with the commercial development of distributors predominantly in Denmark. You will manage the strategy, business and activity plans, sales, marketing, implementation, budget and commercial results for the market. The position will interface with end users, integrators, distributors, sales team and other stakeholders. The travelling is about 80% in Denmark and 20% abroad.

The final candidate will be a high intellectual with great energy who thrives in a challenging, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment. In addition, it is expected that this individual will have the combination of talent and drive to lead and achieve sales performance goals. This individual will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and advising on all industry specific sales and customer relationship management activities in UR.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Identify the new potential end users in the market or value-added distributors
  • Canvass, initiate, qualify sales and follow through to ensure successful sales
  • Establish and structure a sales funnel for distributors
  • Facilitate joint visits with distributor’s sales reps to end users
  • Devise sales & marketing strategy and implement sales & marketing plans to strategically position UR in the market and create brand awareness via positive visibility in the market
  • Train, develop, motivate and support existing distributors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business
  • High English proficiency is a must
  • Have a minimum of 5 years successful track record from B2B sales.Experience in indirect sales to distributors would be an advantage
  • Experience in industrial automation, solution/ project sales involving technical products would be an advantage
  • Strong sense of understanding of the value proposition to the end users
  • Experience with structured sales, plans, budgets, pipeline management, marketing
  • Business acumen that you can apply on different decision levels from senior management level to technical support
