And would you like to become part of a rapidly growing company with a product that promotes sustainability? Then you may be the Sales Director we are looking to hire for Aarhus-based Advansor. 
 
Controlled growth, systematic sales management and structuring of sales channels
In this newly created position, you will report to the CEO and be a member of the executive management team, thus contributing to deciding and implementing the overall sales strategy on a global level. You will play a key role in professionalising and providing the structure to support processes in existing markets as well as in new markets to ensure full alignment with production and the ability to supply. You will have the overall responsibility for product management and for enhancing areas such as price management and customer segmentation. Your team consists of 12 sales managers across Europe, who will report directly to you. You can expect approx. 50 travelling days a year. Your key areas of responsibility comprise: 
  • Managing and driving global sales with a strong pipeline focus
  • Developing the sales strategy, including sales activities and sales organisation
  • Mobilising and developing your organisation to execute an ambitious strategy plan through a motivating, engaging and cohesive management style
  • Strengthening and exploring further growth potential via business partners and distribution channels
  • Customer segmentation and product management to ensure optimum pricing aligned across markets, geography, customer segments and verticals 
  • Conducting field visits with sales managers to strategic customers, following up on KPIs and contributing in complex negotiation situations

Commercial mindset and technical background 
You have a commercial education combined with an engineering degree, a marine engineering education or similar technical background. More importantly, you have a strong commercial mindset, technical understanding and solid experience within sales management and preferably distance leadership. You have the necessary tools to take strategic international B2B sales to the next level, and your professional background has given you an in-depth understanding of the value chain in a manufacturing company. Maybe you already hold a similar position, or maybe you see this as an opportunity to take your career to the next level. As a manager, you are visible, informative, recognising, supportive and motivating. You have strong communication skills, you are tenacious and good at building strong customer relationships. This, combined with your professional knowledge makes you the preferred sparring partner among management colleagues and employees. Finally, you are structured, analytical and you move with ease from the executive floor to the shop floor. You speak and write English at negotiation level, and it will be considered an advantage if you master German and/or French.
