Regional Strategic Account Manager, HHC, Bagsværd, Denmark

We are looking for a new Regional Strategic Account Manager to join the Household Care team.  In this role, you will take a global responsibility for one of our main accounts, working closely with local account managers and be part of setting direction for the Household Care division.

In Novozymes Household Care we want to shape the household industry. We offer biological alternatives to conventional chemicals. We provide solutions that can reduce the need for energy, water, time and mechanics in the laundry and dish washing process. Our customers rely on us to inspire them. We offer our customers technology which they can use to create high quality products and strong market claims. The Household industry in Novozymes is a fast-moving innovative industry with both a B2B and a B2C dynamics.

The role requires a true strategist to drive the entire Novozymes organization towards the account. You will be the owner of the partnership and you need to maneuver seamlessly at all levels of the customer’s organization – from executives like category responsible, presidents and VPs to sourcing and R&D. At the same time, you need to orchestrate our own organization at all levels towards the customer. R&D will be an important stakeholder to manage as you need to sufficiently understand the technical aspects and translate them into commercial opportunities.
 
Your key areas of responsibility will include setting an overall strategic direction for the partnership. You will also drive the innovation process for pipeline filling.
 
In addition, you will with the local account managers need to identify and develop sales opportunities across the world, negotiate contracts as well as organize and execute executive engagements.
 
You will be challenged by a high variety of tasks and by managing several responsibilities simultaneously. Your ability to manage many stakeholders and interests are key drivers of success in this position. You know that to get things done, it requires good organization of work and a hands-on working style, and you do that with passion and perseverance.
 
The job will be based out of Denmark (Bagsværd) on local employment terms. You will be reporting to the Sales Director HHC EMA.

In this position you need:

  • A business education (BSc or MSc) or a technical education (e.g. BSc or MSc)
  • 3-5+ years of experience from technical, marketing and/or commercial roles, where you have proven your strong business acumen and business development skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence.
  • International experience is an advantage and so is experience from the Household Care industry
  • Analytical, flair for numbers and a structured approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills and story-telling
  • Enjoy working in cross-functional teams with many stakeholders. You have a high level of drive and are motivated by seeing the implementation and results of your work.
  • Capability and willingness to travel as needed (about 20%)
