Then you might be our new Business Development Manager. You will be part of a dedicated team where we pull together to secure a strong business for Danfoss electronic radiator thermostats. The business is growing and the right candidate will have the possibility to create impact short term, while at the same time having a big stake in shaping the electronic thermostat business going forward.
Business development throughout Europe
As a Business developer you will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for our existing product and solution range within smart home and smart heating systems.
You rapidly understand and build on the variety of different business cases and concepts that our customers present you with – you identify where Danfoss’ capabilities can best support the customer and use this to secure the customers’ business. You are an expert on both products and on customers’ business plans and you deliver feedback to product management on product requirements. You work independently as well as with our local sales colleagues around Europe, ensuring a strong awareness on the products for which you are responsible. In addition to that, you develop sales strategies and price levels and execute these throughout Europe. The position is pan European and some travel is therefor expected.
Your success will be measured on your ability to develop and contribute to the business and to:
• Develop a strong pipeline and execution on it
• Increase efficiency and effectiveness in customer management
• Cooperate with local Danfoss sales companies, R&D and Supply chain
• Communicate on all levels and transform complex functionalities into customer values
A strong combination of sales, technical and personal skills
You might have a BSc or MSc degree in engineering and a proven track record of sales. Alternatively, you might hold a MSc in business development combined with experience from the sales of technical products. Experience with smart home or wireless protocols is an advantage as well as experience with connectivity and IOT in general. You will have many contacts both across the organisation and with customers, and, consequently, you will need to have good networking skills and a full overview of relevant stakeholders. You are structured and possess a personal drive and have the ambition to push boundaries both internally and externally. You are execution-oriented with a close follow-up mentality and you do not take “no” for an answer. You are fluent in written and spoken English and proficiency in Danish will be an advantage.
