Joining the Practice Facilitation team in the Maersk IT Portfolio Management Office (PMO) will give you an exciting opportunity to work in a truly international and fast changing environment, and be part of a significant change in the organisation.

Working as a Student Assistant gives you the opportunity to use your competencies from your studies in daily tasks in a multinational company.

You will get responsibilities that will help you learn, develop, build and apply new knowledge within several areas.

The Practice Facilitation team currently counts 8 colleagues and 7 nationalities.

Your role and tasks will have a key focus on knowledge management, supporting the IT organisation with information and guidance on the ways we work.

We have just started building a cross-functional knowledge management platform to provide the organisation with relevant information on policies, processes, standards and good practices, and you will be part of designing, building, testing and managing this platform.

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in hands on development of the platform as well as interaction with product owner, content owners and end-users to understand requirements and ensure the continuous improvement.

In addition, you will be part of the first level support setup for the Project Management community, answering queries and completing service requests.

Other key tasks:

• Contribute to the design, development, maintenance and continuous improvement of our knowledge management platform

• Collaborate with content owners to secure relevant material for our end-users

• Ensure availability of self-service support material (guides and videos)

• Provide hands on support to the Project Management community

• Conduct basic to advanced data analyses in Excel; prepare presentations in PowerPoint; conduct and report on surveys in Enalyzer

• Support with logistics around meetings and workshops

Who we are looking for

The perfect fit for the role is a person who is very structured, ambitious and thrives on challenges.

You have a high level of energy and creativity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

You are service minded – preferably with work experience in a role with customer interactions – and you enjoy collaborating with people and building relationships.

Your approach is proactive and you can work independently with little supervision, managing tasks end to end.

You are detail oriented but still able to see the big picture and you have a clear and efficient communication style.

The person for this role must be fluent in oral and written English, technically savvy (experience in setting up and managing SharePoint sites is a plus), and proficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.

You have excellent organisation and planning skills and a certain level of technical know-how.

You have passed the first year of your bachelor’s studies and have at least two years of school remaining.

You are expected to work approximately 20 hours per week (with due consideration to your studies) and preferably you already have experience from a student assistant role.
