Are you experienced in new product development from early proof of concept until market launch? Then you might be the new System Engineer, we are looking for at Danfoss Heating. We have a clear strategy of being at the forefront of digitalisation, where products and solutions with superior control systems and software is the core of this journey.The position is in Nordborg and you can expect up till 20 travel days pr. year. New product developmentAs Systems Engineer, you will work closely together with the Project Manager and a cross functional team of development engineers, where your focus areas will be requirements, system architecture and overall quality assurance of the product. You will be responsible for the interfaces between the system elements, which consists of software, electronics and mechanical components, as well as align and coordinate these activities.You will work closely together with our customers where your will understand, interpret and translate their requirements into product solutions. You will make sure that the overall system requirements are well defined, testable and documented. In addition, you must identify and manage the development of the overall system and architecture solution as well as be responsible for system verification and validation. Your expertise will be required to assess and select the best emerging technologies for heating systems in smart homes.
Your areas of responsibility will include:
Your success will be determined by your ability to deliver quality products within the right specification and product cost. Experienced System EngineerYou hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Electronics, Mechatronics or Software Development. Likewise, you have solid experience working in a similar position, where you have developed complex products, focusing on high stability and quality. It is required that you have experience with quality tools such as FMEA, control plans and special characteristics and preferred that you have training or education in Systems Engineering (ex INCOSE).
