Then you might be the Process Engineering Manager we are looking for in Danfoss Power Solutions.

Furthermore, Danfoss Power Solutions offers the opportunity for both professional and personal development. You will be manager for a team of 4 employees in Nordborg. The position is located in Nordborg, Denmark, and you will report to the Operations Director. Sustainment engineering, process development and technical guidanceAs our new Process Engineering Manager, you must ensure a high level of customer satisfaction (internally and externally) and performance through the implementation and application of efficient and effective production and test equipment as well as implementation of new products in the production.You will be responsible for the technical and administrative direction of products within the product lines as it relates to sustainment engineering, process development for new products and technical guidance to production. Successful performance in the job requires a broad-based knowledge of manufacturing techniques and systems along with the ability to apply appropriate methods, procedures, practices and policies to achieve an economical and efficient operation.  Effective leadership is needed to demonstrate total quality in the production, cost, delivery and safety.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring Safety first, following up on safety regulations and actively contributing to work safety
  • Identifying ISO/IATF quality requirements
  • Building continuous improvement philosophies within the team
  • Acting as an expert resource regarding process/product knowledge
  • To manage the team and NPD and production equipment projects
  • Ensuring that goals and KPIs are met
  • Providing and facilitating communication/interaction among team members, between local and global teams and with customers 

Visionary leader with focus on total quality and continuous improvementsYou hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and you have several years of experience from a similar role where you have demonstrated good problem-solving skills and leadership. You are familiar with quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA and Gage R&R and Control Plans, and you have working knowledge of PDP or similar product development process as well as LabVIEW programming. On a more personal note, you are openminded, flexible and you encourage creativity. You are a good communicator with advanced interpersonal skills, who maintains cooperative and productive working relationships with all employees and customers.
