Key role to secure future growth and building long-term relationships

We are looking for a Spanish speaking Regional Export Manager for Vikan, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hygienic and efficient cleaning solutions. It will be your mission to develop and explore market possibilities and to improve sales results in existing and future growth markets in primarily in Latin America.  
Develop and implement sales activities
This role will allow you to develop your creativity and will require you to explore new ways of thinking. As the new Regional Export Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for maintaining and expanding existing business as well as identifying new business and opportunities in your regions. You will have a wide interface with both internal and external stakeholders and you will play a central role in creating impact and changes for Vikan in the current region. The position entails approximately 60-80 travelling days per year. Your key tasks will include: 
  • Development, execution, and follow-up on sales and marketing activities primary in the LATAM region 
  • Ensuring the development and training of the regional distributors regarding sales and product knowledge  
  • Mapping the current market dynamics and business structures in selected markets  
  • Driving and securing day-to-day sales operations 
  • Implementation and execution on the agreed overall growth strategy
Finally, you will help foster and facilitate long-term relationships, and you will be part of creating a customer focused culture in Vikan. The position is located in Copenhagen/Islands Brygge, close to the airport. You will report to the International Sales Manager.  
Strong networking skills and solid business acumen within B2B sales
We are looking for a proactive self-starter with drive, ambition and a positive can-do attitude. You have a relevant educational background and experience from a similar role in an international company e.g. in Food & Beverage or cleaning. You have gained a strong understanding of different cultures, and you know how to use it in your commercial relations. Experience from working with distributors will be an advantage. It is essential that you are result-oriented and that you have strong negotiation skills. You are also good at leading change and know how to prioritise your deadlines. You master English and Spanish at negotiation level, finally you are a great and diplomatic communicator at all organisational levels.
