You will become a member of the Procurement & Supply Chain Management department (in Technical Excellence) - Wells Strategic Sourcing Team, where you will get the opportunity to work with procurement in a renowned corporation. The Wells Strategic Souring team is responsible for Maersk Oil’s end-to-end supply chain support and procurement of materials and services for wells and drilling services. The team also works closely with Maersk Oil’s Category Management team and peers in other Maersk Oil business units.
In this team, you will shape and develop a central role with great influence in tender strategies, management of the sourcing process with suppliers, carry out post award contract management activities and help the organisation create and add value in its management of the supply chain. Also, you will get to use your knowledge and experience by applying a range of techniques for analysis and adapting your presentational style to influence the target audience while building on your experience and competencies.
You will have a key role in managing and conduct the tendering process in a commercially sound manner and in accordance with applicable procurement regulations, international procedures and guidelines.
Your other responsibilities and tasks;
• Identify and establish contacts with potential suppliers and investigate qualifications of the potential suppliers
• Prepare and issue ITT, RFP, RFQ, RFI as appropriate for the type of procurement
• Receive and analyze all bid responses for completeness and adhere to the RFP requirements
