Focus on daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives
Referring directly to the CEO, you will head an international HR team including training and play a significant role in the organization. As HR Director you will have full HR responsibility, and your focus will be on the daily operations as well as long-term development. You will focus on a sourcing strategy and build a talent pipeline ensuring that the right competencies are present at all levels of the organisation and at the right time. The current HR platform needs to be further developed with focus on employee retention and people development supporting the company’s strategic intentions of continued growth. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop processes for structured sourcing of employees and ensure sufficient onboarding
- Develop talent management programs – including designing development plans for employees to utilise talent and ensure that you always have the best team
- Understand and handle international labour law issues on local sites
- Redefine all HR core processes to suit the current business context
- Be a strong sparring partner for all people managers while ensuring a common leadership language
You can expect travel activity equivalent to approx. 40-50 travel days annually, and a bit more the first two months.
Strategic HR experience and a people’s person
You hold an HR relevant education at Master’s level, however, international HR experience, a business oriented mindset and the right personality are weighted higher. With some years of experience as a leader, you are a powerful contributor in an experienced management team. You are confident in developing and driving core HR processes that support the overall strategy and context and you have solid experience with recruitment and building a talent pipeline. It will be an advantage if you have been leading an international team before and have some knowledge about the principles of international labour law.
As a person, you are solution-oriented and practical as well as informal, and you are able to see situations from your employee’s perspective. You are persistent and you dare challenge at all levels, exchanging opinions and ideas for development initiatives. You understand the mechanisms in a dynamic business and can adapt to changes, and you are visible in your approach to growth ambitions. Finally, you master English in both writing and speech.
