ROLE PURPOSE
This role will work with senior managers and sponsors to initiate and lead projects supporting strategic business growth in Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). This is predominantly mobilizing new client accounts and expansion/transformation of existing accounts. This role will lead projects for the mobilisation of Facilities Management outsourcing contracts in the Nordics. This will be from clients that are outsourcing generally FM (and PJM, Lease Admin, transaction management) from an internal client based solution or that already managed by a 3rd party provider. The client may be new to CBRE or an existing client for whom CBRE are expanding their remit or undertaking a review of the existing FM/Real Estate operations under new contract terms.

Our transitions cover the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, frequently involving the transfer of 50-100 staff to CBRE (and/or 3rd Party Service Partners) with project having revenues of typically $30-50m pa, but can be over $100m on large global deals. The transition lead will often form part of a global delivery for the largest projects with consistent delivery using the CBRE transition methodology.  The Transition Lead will be required to lead direct and virtual project teams, own the transition project budget and expense.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the RFP/ Bid Process for relevant outsourcing projects – delivering content were necessary and attending internal and external meetings in support of the transition planning
  • Developing the transition project budget.
  • Leading and directing project CBRE transition team made of subject matter experts nominated from the business operations and functions.
  • Delivery of the account transition, on time and within budget for the account Operations team.
  • Ensure contractual commitments for both financial and operational requirements are implemented by Go Live date.

PROFILE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent interpersonal and consensus management skills with ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills. Innovative, analytical and problem-solving qualities, with ability to multi-task in a high paced environment.
  • Trained and experienced in project management, including programme planning, business management process.
  • Operational experience of business unit leadership; managing diverse virtual teams and driving commercial success.
  • Experience of working at a senior level in FM / Real Estate outsourcing or change management in multiple countries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University Degree or equivalent recognised professional qualifications relevant to the role is required.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to lead and manage teams that are not direct reports and who have diverse skill sets with conflicting work priorities.
  • Can establish client relationships at senior management level that supports client confidence.
  • Manages multiple stakeholder relationships on client side and internally at CBRE.
  • Familiar with techniques to measure performance and set corrective action plans.
  • Understands and able to set risk management strategy.
  • Understanding of complex, multi-service line environments delivering services within FM and Real Estate.
  • Will be expected to travel to meet the demands of the role (against specific project needs, as opposed to on secondment).

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Experienced with the analysis and interpretation of complex business documents
  • Has experience of developing and presenting on complex topics to employees, clients and management
  • Familiar with negotiation techniques and escalation points when positioning CBRE commitments to clients. Comfortable with presenting business cases to internal management.
  • English speaking / writing required and additional languages are a benefit
