The Technical Manager is responsible for the technical operation of the vessels in the assigned fleet by providing first line technical support, driving continuous technical improvement, being the focal point towards the Technical Organization and being responsible for the accounts assigned by the fleet manager.
Among your key responsibilities you will:
As our new Technical Manager you will also play an active role serving as a technical expert for Senior Management and Commercial Department, contributing to wider decision making and building organizational capability.
The ideal candidate will have at least four years of relevant industry experience supplemented by relevant exposure to commercial and marine operational roles within the offshore maritime cluster.
Background with technical capability but experience in managing business oriented activities.
Experience in operational planning, operational budget responsibility and customer relationship management.
Knowledge of relevant international standards, regulations and applicable industry norms.
Good English skills both written and verbal.
You are safety minded and take pride in carrying out your job taking the highest safety standards into consideration.
You are flexible and are willing to travel between 20 to 30 days a year.
