Director of Industry Affairs at Danfoss Drives
Can you manage and promote Danfoss Drives A/S Industry and Public affairs priorities as they relate to industry associations and relations to governmental authorities? Do you have the experience and competences to ensure that Danfoss Drives (DD) is always updated regarding relevant global legislation and standardizations that can impact the business? And can you serve the Industry Affairs board and assist in securing the right ownership of legislative challenges? You will work on key related public affairs and industry affairs projects, which have an industry/competitor focus, and you will responsible for keeping DD management and business units up to date on relevant legislation and standardizations. As such, you translate the development of global standards and legislation into potential business impacts both positive and negative, to influence attitudes about Energy Efficiency in a legislation, industry and competitive context.Your key role is to ensure that Danfoss Drives A/S has a strong voice in industry forums and is well represented on all relevant key issues, including free and fair trade, competitiveness, legislation, regulation and subsidies etc.
Monitor and influence the global legislation and standardization
As Director of Industry Affairs, your mission is to make DD visible and to promote Danfoss’ position on selected areas and organizations. In close cooperation with corporate DD and other divisional industry affairs functions, you act as ambassador for DD promoting DD priorities.

You will play a key role in formulating DD positions to be used in influencing legislation and standardization and contribute to the DD perspective. As such, your success in this position depends on your ability to actively promote/lobby DD in cooperation with Danfoss’ corporate Public Affairs and other divisional Industry Affairs.
Drive, experience and a strong track record
You hold a Master degree in a relevant business area which includes: engineering, international policy or political engagement. Furthermore, you have a wide spread network branched in many different segments such as customers, suppliers, branch organizations and therefore holds superior stakeholder relationship and lobbying skill. Your career shows +5 years of experience in the Power Electronics industry current in a senior capacity dealing with political or public affairs related issues. A solid track record underline your achievements and good international negotiation skills within technical and commercial areas.
On a more personal note, you have an extraordinary drive that ensures that you always are ahead. You are a team player but have the ability to work independently, proactively and have the right mindset to think clearly, creatively and decisively. You are motivated by the political game and wants to make an impact that matters. Last but not least, you are a skilled communicator with the ability to present complex information and concepts into simple and easily understood briefings, reports and presentations. That means you are perfectly fluent both written and orally and experienced in negotiating in English, and German is a strong advantage.
