You will become part of the Maersk Transfer Pricing team, which is a specialized function within the External Accounting and Tax department. The team consists of people with diverse nationalities and backgrounds based in Copenhagen and The Hague. The role will be based in Copenhagen, reporting into the Global Head of Transfer Pricing. As Transfer Pricing manager you will work in partnership with the fast-paced shipping businesses of Maersk Line, DAMCO and APM Terminals and various group functions, as well as cross functionally across the tax department. The Maersk Group is in its largest transformation process since its inception, which provides for many fascinating projects and a variety of Transfer Pricing complexities. You will work closely with colleagues in the business, in Group Functions and colleagues in the Group Transfer Pricing team. In doing so, you will gain insight into and broaden your knowledge about the Maersk businesses and the way they operate. You will work in close cooperation with the business on a range of Transfer Pricing tasks.
• You will be involved in business and transformation projects and audits, MAP’s and other projects across our businesses.
• You will prepare Transfer Pricing reports (Masterfiles and Local files) and work with other team members on a variety of transfer pricing related tasks.
• You will cooperate with many internal and external stakeholders and will build a strong international network of contacts in finance and business functions throughout the Maersk Group.
• We will expect you to remain up to date with developments in worldwide legislation and participate in relevant courses and trainings.
The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of transfer pricing experience from a tax consulting firm, tax authorities or from an in-house tax department, with a relevant professional qualification or Master’s degree (tax law, economics or other). Apart from a good understanding of Transfer Pricing principles, you can are able to drive projects and realize results as well as excel in stakeholder- and project management. You have good interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude. Proficiency in English is a prerequisite. Some travel activity is to be expected.
