The Group Internal Control department, a part of Group Finance, is a newly established team focusing on financial compliance. As a part of Group Internal Control, you will be involved in improving our control environment through a wide range of tasks with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
The tasks of the Internal Control Advisor are versatile and will among other consist of:
- Design and implement control improvements and update process narratives in conjunction with the business
- Perform test of controls and design mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with authorities and mandates
- Process optimization and increased use of automated routines within accounting, consolidation and the Company's monthly closing procedures
- Participate in business reviews and visits to the Groups subsidiaries as part of Group Finance’s annual responsibilities
- Ensure a consistently high standard and quality for controls and procedures across the Group on a Sarbanes-Oxley level
We expect a solid educational background such as HD(R) or cand.merc.aud, and 2-10 years’ experience from a similar position in an international company or from assessing financial processes in a big four auditing firm.
Furthermore, we expect that you have/are:
Capable of planning and organizing activities and projects
That you are detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Danish and English
Knowledge of Sarbanes–Oxley will be an advantage
