The Revenue Optimisation function is involved in Seago Line's key commercial drivers. Your industry understanding will be strengthened and developed given the broad range of tasks you will experience in this role. In the Revenue Optimisation function, you will interact with Market Managers, Finance, Shared service centers and Cluster
You will play an active role in the development of and decision making enabling the Trades to deliver top line improvements. You will gain a unique insight into the Seago Line business, gain exposure, and build relationships creating a unique platform for future jobs within the industry. Seago Line is founded with the aim to enhance regional market focus. The company is a stand-alone legal entity and operates as a fully independent business unit.
Your overall focus will be to optimize the top line and drive market mapping in Seago Line. You will work closely together with our Head of Revenue Management and share responsibility for managing internal and external data sources leading to sufficient pipeline of cargo with the ultimate goal of securing profitable growth of Seago Line’s business.
As Revenue Optimisation manager, your responsibilities will include, among other things, the following tasks:
You will lead market mapping process in Seago line. You will be challenged to gather and analyze a vast amount of data to make decisions in a very short timeframe, and make quantitative follow up on the results.
You will propose Seago Line’s special cargo strategy in close coordination with Market Managers and be accountable for the bottom line result of this segment.
Moreover, you will assist Market Managers in managing internal slot agreements and routing settings.
Continuous development and optimisation of market and pricing processes, models, frameworks and tools.
We require fluency in oral and written English.
You may have a background from the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group or other shipping lines. Or, you may hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree either within shipping, marketing, economics or logistics. We would value your experience with the following:
