Maersk Oil and Gas' IT organization is undergoing substantial change to be fit for the future as part of the newly established Maersk Energy Division. In support of this, the role of Enterprise Architecture is to ensure transparency, consistency and efficiency across the current and future global IT landscape. The guiding principle being "business value creation in all we do".
We take a practical approach to Enterprise Architecture, focusing on delivery of measurable and actionable outcomes while establishing the necessary level of formal models, principles and guidelines. Our work is based on a firm understanding of our business combined with a thorough knowledge of Enterprise Architecture best practices and Information Technology.
In support of this we are now recruiting for an Integration Architect to lead our efforts to optimize our current application landscape and drive the journey towards the IT landscape of the future.
With reference to the Head of Enterprise Architecture you will work globally to make sure individual projects as well as the overall global IT portfolios develop according to business priorities and that the underlying enabling technologies evolve in a cost efficient manner.
You will be working closely with business and IT peers as well as external vendors in a multi-cultural and international environment.
As Integration Architect you will have an opportunity to influence and accelerate our transformation while developing your technical and collaboration skills in a central role with long term career opportunities.
Building a thorough understanding of our existing IT landscape as basis for driving Simplification and optimization of the application and integration architecture. Including optimization of technology debt.
Work with key stakeholders at all levels to develop reference architectures and roadmaps for how IT investments best support the overall current and future business priorities.
Guide delivery teams to ensure solutions within a domain have been properly developed and consistently implemented in accordance to the agreed upon application and integration architecture.
Actively facilitate the architecture community and provide thought leadership, collaboration, direction and best practices for application portfolio management and application integration & interfacing.
Understand IT industry and market trends to determine their potential value and fit for Maersk Oil
Influence the organization to adopt architecture thinking as a means of optimizing IT investments and long term value creation.
You have a proven track record that reflects your technology in-depth knowledge as well as your ability to execute and deliver in a complex global environment.
At least 5-7 years' experience with systems architecture, design, development and integration in a global IT environment – spanning multiple platforms and environments (e.g. transaction processing environments, BI/Analytics platforms, web/Mobile platforms, Integration Brokers, Public/Hybrid Cloud).
You have experience from working with Enterprise Architecture and are familiar with architecture frameworks and best practices.
Advanced knowledge of application portfolio and lifecycle management. Experience in different software development methodologies such as agile and test driven development is an advantage.
You have a natural curiosity about new technology and see the business opportunities it offers. You understand how it can drive value and change without compromising cost-efficient operations.
On a personal level you have strong interpersonal skills in the areas of teamwork and facilitation. You connect and communicate easily across functions and organizational levels and have an open-minded and committed approach. You have an analytical and structured way of getting your tasks done.
We expect you to be excellent in oral and written English communication including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms.
