You will be based in our Esbjerg office, the headquarters for all Maersk Oil productions activities in the Danish sector of the North Sea.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will lead a diverse and growing team focused on achieving technical excellence in an innovative company that is going through change. You will be working in a collaborative environment with colleagues who have a passion for innovation and applying technology to improve business delivery.

As the successful candidate, you will join the leadership team of Technical Excellence covering the functional areas of Operations, Engineering, Subsurface, Wells and Procurement & Supply Chain.
Integrated Solutions is the home of Programme Management, Planning & Performance Management, Quality Management and Applied Technology and together with your team you will engage the capability and expertise of our technical functions and supply chain to improve performance across our operated assets and projects.

You will have an area of technical expertise and be able to demonstrate the difference you have made in this area previously.
You will require a fundamental understanding of the financial basis of a business, and be able to demonstrate previous budget management
You have experience from the energy sector and understand its value chain.
You have previous leadership experience, and you have a passion for driving change.
You have built teams from a functional start up situation
You know change management and how to implement technology.
You have a broad, diverse business perspective and skillset.
You are proficient in oral and written English.
