Based in our Lyngby office, you will be part of the Drilling Project Procurement team which consist of a number of Program Manager and Project Managers, who are partnering with the Technical Organisation in projects to ensure Maersk Drilling has a commercial optimal asset base. This is done through tailored Procurement Strategies, where Project Procurement establish a procurement team of specialist with knowledge and expertise within procurement and category areas relevant to the specific project.
Project Procurement have the overall responsibility for planning, sourcing, tendering, contracting, and supply chain including logistics related to projects owned by Maersk Drilling’s Technical Organization.

You will be a member of an engaged Project Procurement team which is part of the Maersk Drilling Global Procurement Department.
You will provide program and project management support to Head of Project Procurement and Project Procurement Managers within Project Procurement’s scope i.e. projects related to capital investments, global cost drives and Procurement’s strategy. Leads smaller activity streams in large, complex projects or leads smaller projects individually within scope.
You will be exposed to both internal and external senior stakeholders and we expect a high degree of diligence, engagement and commitment as we expect that you will handle projects on your own supporting the overall strategy.
You main key responsibilities will be:
•Enables and coordinates efficient and effective project and program reporting
•Performs analyses and develops plans related to own activity streams and/or projects
•Drives execution of own activity streams or projects and coordinates across activity streams and projects in close cooperation with project and program stakeholders
•Prepares, executes and analyses eRFx and eAuctions, and provides recommendations to project management
•Ensures that project decisions considers Procurement’s best practices
•Drives Ariba capability building in Project Procurement
•Maintains best practices and other content on Project Procurement’s intranet site and coordinates maintenance of content on Procurement’s website
In addition there will be department administrative task in various systems (Ariba, IFS).
You will have significant early responsibility and will be held accountable the same way as any other team member.
We are looking for candidates with a track record of high performance, currently studying for your Bachelor or Master Degree, potentially within business, supply chain, or engineering, and a top 10% performer.
As a person, you are dynamic, ambitious, detail oriented and committed to deliver high quality. You work in a structured and systematic manner.
You have a good analytical reasoning and problem solving skills which lead to solutions that are carefully thought through. You are comfortable with Excel based analysis and able to transform conclusions into key messages often using PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A team player, who understands the importance of stakeholder management, can build rapport even in challenging situations. A person, who is able to take ownership, work independently and get results.

English is our working language - also in the office – so a high level of fluency in spoken and written English is required. Ability to work in a global, multicultural and diverse work environment is a prerequisite.
