Would you like to lead an international team of highly skilled engineers that improves and develops our ABL 800 platform?

In this R&D position, you manage a multi-site team of approximately 20 employees through 3 R&D managers. Doing so, you truly get to leave a mark on our R&D as you prepare us for the future through facilitating improved processes that enable even more R&D projects. Also, you will get the opportunity to build your career and grow as a leader.

Quality first – always. That is our mantra. And that is what you promote via your experience with driving improvements, ensuring quality and leading people.

Strengthen and drive our cross-national R&D team

To become successful in this position, you strengthen our R&D organization, allowing each of your teams to identify the high-value projects and execute them to the benefit of our customers. You get to greatly influence our current and future products as you ensure short time-to-market as well as on-time delivery of advanced technical solutions. Your responsibilities and tasks include:

  • providing direct leadership to 3 R&D managers in Denmark
  • ensuring performance and people management of a team of approximately 10 engineers in Denmark as well as task and execution management of 4-8 engineers in Poland
  • selecting and executing projects related to our ABL800 platform based on your knowledge of the customer and supply chain needs
  • ensuring execution of approximately 15 projects at a time including portfolio management.

Furthermore, you create and maintain structure and motivation in your teams. This entails introducing a strong project management culture and optimizing project execution. Also, you apply your technical knowledge to encourage your team to create state-of-the-art medical solutions.

You will refer directly to our director of Instruments R&D and will spend about 30 days annually travelling – e.g. visiting your team in Poland.

"Constructive Diversity" is one of our core values, and we believe that human diversity creates a dynamic and creative environment. Therefore, we encourage diversity through our recruitment process. However, we believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success:

  • You have 5+ years of leadership experience where you have also lead technical managers and successfully introduced changes.
  • You hold international experience that has taught you to engage teams across borders.
  • It is an advantage, but not a prerequisite, if you have a project management education.
  • You speak and write Danish and English fluently.

You must be passionate about and committed to what you do, as well as:

  • analytical, structured, and tenacious, so you can create structure across your team
