We Offer

This role will place you centrally in the newly established Energy Division, where you will be supporting the Energy Division Management Team. This is a lean team of 3/4 managers and around 20 employees in total with an influential and wide reach across the entire Energy Division, which consists of Maersk Oil, Maersk Drilling, Maersk Supply Service and Maersk Tankers.

The Energy Division is heading into a challenging future and the role will be rewarding in terms of personal and professional development as we embark on the journey to build the future for all 4 companies in a crucial time for the entire division.

On a daily basis you will report to the Head of Strategy and M&A but you will also assist the Finance and Corporate Affairs Teams, who, like Strategy & M&A, report directly into the CEO of the Energy Division.

Workplace will be central Copenhagen: to begin with at Esplanaden and as of October 2017 in our brand new office domicile in the attractive Nordhavn area.

Key Responsibilities

It will be your main responsibility to support the Energy Division Management Team. This requires the ability to handle a lot of different administrative and support tasks simultaneously without losing sight of what needs to be prioritized. Your main focus will be to ensure that the Management Team’s time and appointments are managed efficiently and some of your typical daily tasks will be:

• Calendar orchestrating and scheduling appointments
• Correspondence, e-mail handling etc.
• Coordinating and organizing meeting arrangements
• Preparing materials for meetings and workshops
• Booking of venues, meeting rooms and catering
• Travel coordination and bookings
• Power Point presentations
• Accounting, invoices, expenses
• On- and Off-boarding of employees.

Who we are looking for

You are proactive and have an inquisitive mind, which makes it easy for you to start tasks independently, fill gaps where you see a need and make decisions on your own. You are well organized with good coordination skills, used to handle and prioritize many tasks at the same time whilst still being attentive to details and keeping a high efficiency level. You are self-motivated and can deliver work to a high standard. You are naturally service minded, thorough and flexible and you like being a part of a collaborative team. It’s crucial for success in this role that you have demonstrated the ability to operate with high levels of discretion, confidentiality and integrity.

You have some years of experience with similar tasks in an international environment interacting with different stakeholders in both Danish and English, both languages which you master to perfection verbally and in writing.

You are a skilled super user in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
