On behalf of NRS Media DEDIKATION are seeking an Account Director. 

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark 

NRS Media is currently seeking an Account Director for the Nordic territory to join our successful and expanding global team. Based in Copenhagen the Account Director will be responsible for a portfolio of media companies (multi media). 

Reporting to the Managing Director, Nordics, you will lead sales teams to grow advertising sales consistently and incrementally via in-market sales events, driving revenue performance. Your role will involve working with organizations to identify their growth, development and training/coaching needs. You will also be responsible for implementing bespoke strategic support and delivering intensive training for staff. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deploy go-to-market infield sales initiatives. 
  • Achieve/exceed Media Partner sales goals. 
  • Coach, manage and motivate Media Partner sales teams to high levels of performance. 
  • Travel extensively (maximum of 24 weeks) and be in-market for extended periods of up to 2 weeks on a regular basis. 
  • Manage the media partners Sales Management and Account Executive team. 
  • Deliver NRS Media’s sales management methodology with a clear focus on the management discipline through the process. 
  • Invest and build deep relationships with your Media Partners to significantly increase advertising revenue. 
  • Inspirational and motivational with the ability to present, sell and close in front of up to 50 people. 
  •  Partner with assigned Project Manager to ensure all aspects of the programs are implemented to meet the needs of the Media Partner.
  • Maintain regular client contact throughout all phases to ensure customer satisfaction.

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience (Media background preferred). 
  • Strong leadership and sales management skills with experience in media sales. 
  • Dynamic and energetic leader with a proven track record of successfully managing and directing sales staff. 
  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to involve and inspire others at all levels. 
  • Good commercial/business acumen. 
  • Ability to implement, transfer and maintain a sales vision.
