Product Manager

Technology mounting in an international environment

Ergonomic Solutions is growing rapidly and as a consequence the company is strengthening its Product Management division. The Product Manager will report directly to the Director of Product Management and is responsible for the complete product portfolio, which includes the core brand SpacePole.

Your key responsibilities will be to drive and develop the company’s product portfolio, road map and evaluation processes and there will be a close working relationship with the sales & marketing team in ensuring that clear product messages are communicated and strong positioning is achieved. Your ability to understand the market and our competitors is essential hence, you will be responsible for specifying market requirements for current and future products in new and existing verticals.

You will be supported by the application development specialist who reports to you.  The ability to understand and communicate technical and mechanical requirements in a way that is relevant for our partners and customers is a necessity.

You are used to working with and collecting relevant data, internal and external, to review, manage and take the right decisions regarding the attractiveness and performance of the product portfolio. Experience in ERP and CRM are an advantage.

Key tasks:

  • Driving the PLCM cycle
  • Identify and monitor customer & market requirements
  • Management and execution of the product road map including product launches
  • Internal and external product training
  • Maintain and develop product communication lines to the sales regions
  • Pricing and positioning of product portfolio

Your working style is systematic, analytical with an attention to detail and a high focus on achieving your goals. Respect for deadlines and the ability to work well even under pressure. You are a natural leader and not least able to empower and excite the people you work with.

You have excellent communications skills both orally and written and you are experienced in Business English on a high level. It would be an advantage if you also speak another foreign language besides English. You are expected to be close to the suppliers and customers and 50 days of travel per year must be expected – primarily in Europe and additionally North America.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is expected as well as a minimum of five years’ experience as product manager, preferably within retail technology. Most likely, you are currently employed in a similar position in an international company and you live or are willing to settle within reasonable driving distance from the company’s Danish headquarters in Nørresundby, near Aalborg, but for the right candidate we are open to explore other solutions.
