The role as OD Consultant is an opportunity for an HR Professional to take part in driving people and organizational development in a global organization currently preparing for separation in line with the recently announced strategic direction for Maersk Group. The key HR challenge over the next years is to build a strong organization capable of realizing our strategic ambitions and supporting the organization in a potential stand–alone scenario - and here OD and talent management have a significant role in enabling this vision.
As part of the Centre of Excellence for OD in the Maersk Tankers HR organization, you will be part of a small team responsible for Talent Management, Learning & Development, Performance Management and Engagement, Diversity, Change Management, and Organizational Capability. Due to the size of the team, there is a great deal of collaboration in the way that we work, as well as the opportunity to take ownership for and deliver projects yourself.
Our HR team in the Copenhagen-based head office currently consists of 13 HR professionals with two colleagues located in Singapore. That includes HR Business partners, HR functional experts and operational support. We are passionate about what we do and dedicated to the success of Maersk Tankers.
The OD team’s responsibility includes delivery of the annual performance management cycle processes including objective setting, performance appraisal, calibration and personal development.
You will be responsible for supporting the Head of OD in delivery of the Organizational Development agenda across the global Maersk Tankers organization with particular responsibility for Talent Management, Change management, Capability Development and building a collaborative culture.
You will support our Head of OD in leading and developing senior leadership events and supporting the anchoring of our Taking Lead strategy.
You will be involved in developing functional talent management strategies and working together with the HR BPs where we build quality, internal and external succession options for critical roles, leaders focused on the talent agenda and visible career paths for our core functions.
The annual engagement survey process and ensuring follow up is owned by OD as well, as are learning & leadership development, change management expertise, career development (MyCareer) and diversity.
You are currently an OD specialist or an HR Business Partner who wants to expand your profile by working in OD.
You likely have 1-4 years of experience working as an HR professional.
You have a broad understanding of the various HR disciplines allowing you to fluently navigate all of the processes included in the role.
Your energy level is high and you have a basic understanding of how strategic needs are translated into effective HR solutions. Your solid stakeholder management skills are supported by a pragmatic approach to delivering simple, impactful solutions.
You bring with you a well-developed change management toolbox preferably with proven experiences working with behavioral and cultural change.
Given the broad responsibility of the OD team, the ability to prioritize, determine how to drive the greatest impact and to simplify solutions is essential. You have a structured and analytical way of thinking with proven results in delivering impact through HR solutions.
