The Internal Audit team is responsible for the identification of risks across business processes, their assessment in terms of criticality and determining the effectiveness of controls across the Maersk Drilling organization. This includes:
• Planning and executing audits according to the established plan as well as developing audit quality standards and audit programs.
• At the same time, we provide input to the development of controls in the ERP platform and you prepare and present reports to management.
• Finally, we review the internal control policies and procedures within Maersk Drilling and perform fraud investigations.

Your key responsibility will be to support the Internal Audit team with the execution of audit activities. This includes:
•Supporting on special projects, ranging from planning of the audit to analysis of data, as well as field work and reporting the findings of the audit
•Handling project management activities of each audit
•Communicating with key stakeholders
•Preparing audit samples, prepare first draft report of the audit
•Assisting the Internal Audit team with ad hoc projects
The position is ideal for a student with a keen interest in data analysis, finance and project management. A high level of attention to detail, ability to execute with little oversight and good reporting and stakeholder management skills are essential capabilities for fulfilling the role.
In addition, we expect that you:
•Are currently enrolled in a business-related university level programme, and have a minimum of 1 year left in your studies
•Have a good understanding of accounting
•Have a good understanding of business administration
•Are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels
•Enjoy working on different projects at the same time
•Are quick to learn new concepts and are system savvy, particularly proficient in Excel and MS Office package
•Are diligent about the details and always meet the deadlines
•Flexible, and can work 15-20 hours/week
•Aim at taking up a role in Audit or Project Management when you finish your studies
•Are fluent and proficient in English, both written and spoken
