You will be part of our Technical Support team, where you will get to work with top notch automation and electrical designs but also some of the mature systems we still operate off shore. You will work amongst highly dedicated and technical experts.
You will take part in trouble shooting and advising on ongoing issues but also modifications and upgrades of our vessels - from anchor handlers to extremely specialized and customized sub sea vessels.

As automation and electrical engineer your overall objective will be to support vessels on trouble shooting and take part in modification projects from the initial idea is conceived until hand-over to our Vessel Management fleet teams.
We will expect you to be able to solve issues swift and efficiently and at the same time keep a high degree of cost focus. Everything we do must create value to our end clients.
You will have the role of an automation and electrical specialist and in that role be ready to evaluate and assess the technology of the future for our vessels.
Furthermore, with your expert knowledge and with focus on safety, innovation and considering costumer needs, you will assist with specification input commissioning for ongoing and future new building projects.
You will be focal point towards a wide variety of equipment suppliers in our constant drive for optimizing equipment, solutions and systems in order to accommodate our customers and maintain our business in a sustainable way.
A highly dedicated automation and electrical engineer. Preferably you have experience from the marine industry and specialist knowledge about ship board diesel electric power distribution systems, AC-drives and DP-systems, Crane automation and drives.
If you do not have in depth experience, you must be prepared for a steep learning curve and be able to apply your previous experience to new areas.
You must have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and you have proven experience in negotiating with suppliers.
You are able to deliver unmatched solutions with due consideration to rigorous health, safety and environmental procedures.
You are skilled and never compromise on accuracy, and your sense of quality is a natural part of your professional conduct.
You are a self-driven and able to alter between in-depth detailed studies and fast-tracked activities where timely delivery is critical.
You must expect around 40-50 travel days per year.
