In the Information Strategy team we will be responsible for shaping the overall BI strategy for Maersk Line, layout the roadmaps and drive change management in the BI space.

Working as Technical Strategy Consultant in the Information Strategy team, you will take responsibility for shaping the technology strategy for BI globally in Maersk Line.
You will take an end-to-end ownership of technology strategy from analysis and design to strategy formulation and implementation. You will work in collaboration with IT work to ensure that Maersk Line has the right capabilities to enable BI.
Areas of responsibility will include:
Assess current solutions, technologies, tools and capabilities across the entire landscape and continually promote improvement recommendations
Scan market for new trends and consider the trends in a Maersk Line context
Work closely with various departments to understand business direction, opportunities and technology roadmaps
Drive future strategy on tools & capabilities & BI framework and distribution method in Maersk Line
Drive & participate in projects and Design Review Boards
Work closely with solution architects to ensure optimal use of technology in proposed designs as well as to drive innovation and fit to strategy
The overall vision is to ensure BI is recognized for agility, speed and scalability while efficiently enabling the organization with relevant data for informed decision-making. And you will play an important role in driving this.
The ideal candidate has a relevant Master degree and a minimum of 7-10 years experience within Business Intelligence from either consulting or a global shipping/logistics company.
Furthermore you have:
Proven track record in delivering a technology strategy that spans and effectively draws on the strengths of multiple vendors across the entire technology stack
Solid experience within BI
Strategic mind-set and an ability to convert complex problems into pragmatic, practical solutions
