Danfoss Power Solutions, Work Functions, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner/HR Director to bring the organization to the next level.You will be part of a world-class provider of mobile hydraulics serving the construction, agriculture and other off-highway vehicle markets, with 1.700 employees world-wide and a revenue of USD 370M. We need you to focus on organizational capability, talent management, employee engagement and leadership development, aligned with our corporate strategies and values, to support Danfoss in building a positive employer brand and ensuring our people remain a key competitive advantage in the market place. Finally, you will be an active member of the Work Function Division Leadership Team (WFLT). 

Your responsibilities

  • Part of the Division Leadership Team, actively monitor business needs
  • Lead the Management Team to create workforce forecasting, identifying strategic competencies for the future, also by speaking up and challenging the team
  • Lead organizational changes in close collaboration with the Business
  • Coaching and counselling within the BU Leadership to ensure the team continuously develops and innovates
  • Use of organizational metrics in order to take decisions to improve performance in the best interest of the Business
  • Participate in cross-organizational project work and continuous improvement in areas such as communications, leadership, HR analytics, organizational design, talent pools and Innovation
  • Accountable for taking action and enabling people leaders to ensure high performance and Engagement
  • Provide business priorities, annual goals, and maintain strong networks within our One HR community. 

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s, preferably Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field from a University or from a Business School
  • A seasoned HR professional with a minimum of eight years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience working in a global matrixed or otherwise complex environment and a savvy understanding of organizational design
  • Experience identifying and resolving issues independently, willing to take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
  • Experience in change management, leading transformation processes and managing resistance
  • Excellent process facilitation, and problem solving skills coupled with the ability to analyze current practices, identify improvement opportunities, build consensus and assist with implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually and in groups
  • A strong personality with a positive and creative approach
