Client desktop excellence

Do you consider yourself a “world-class” client engineer? Are you looking to be part of a global team that is engineering tomorrow? Do you consider yourself a business-oriented client architect?Then you could be our new Client Engineer in our client team in Nordborg.

We are a global team with 10 colleagues located across the globe, working closely with Site Service and IT support functions. You will report to the Manager Client EMEA and should expect 10 travelling days per year outside Denmark. IT administration and troubleshootingAs a Client Engineer at Danfoss, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting scalable and highly available client architectures that meet business objectives.

You will work with troubleshooting and resolving issues for internal or external clients who use the organisation’s systems or networks.You will work “on-site” with clients or vendors with technologies such as Windows 7/10 client platforms, software installations, and updates to the deployment system. This includes managing antivirus solutions, updating login scripts, maintaining client OU structure, and developing client tools. Moreover, you will complete software package building and follow-the-sun support.

In order to be a success in this role, you will have to become an active member of the global solution team to ensure alignment of our operational tasks across our three regions.In doing so, you will follow the ITSM - processes defined by Danfoss - and provide level 2/3 support. 

Project manager with customer service orientation

You will work with both long-term and short-term projects, and therefore, some knowledge of project management is expected. You thrive with responsibility, and you have experience from a medium-sized or large matrix organisation within Europe. You have an excellent understanding of computer hardware and software, and are also willing to continuously learn and use new technology. Customer service and interpersonal skills are important as well as a client-related certification. You might have a computer science degree or equivalent. Technically, we expect some proven experience with Microsoft products and other client-related software, a sense of client life cycle (hardware and software) and SCCM knowledge. Finally, you speak and write English fluently.
