In the Danfoss Cooling Segment we are looking for an experienced Electronics & EMS Procurement lead for our sourcing projects that can help realize customer design requests and resourcing activities. The position entails approximately 30 travelling days per year. However, are you located in Copenhagen you must expect to fly to Nordborg once a week.Plan and manage sourcing projects within targetsWith reference to the Regional Head of Procurement, you will get an opportunity to be part of a procurement organisation working with complex sourcing projects. You will be supporting our R&D team globally and act as procurement lead in the projects. The scope will cover from benchmarking, supplier selection, prototyping, to final validation of suppliers and ramp up/down planning. Supplier Selection, Negotiation and Contracting will be your key responsibilities within the projects. There are long-standing relationships with many of the suppliers, but your focus will also be on constantly ensuring the right portfolio of suppliers through sourcing activities.

Result-oriented Project Manager with experience in electronicsYou hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and have in-depth experience in procurement within electronics (e.g. EMS, PCB). You have a strong background in procurement and business acumen and analytical thinking is required. Moreover, you will need to be a robust person in the face of sometimes differing stakeholder expectations, and you have experience in mediating this type of situation. On a more personal note, you are driven by your will to win. You are comfortable with stringent use of global tools and processes, but you are also able to work in a high pace with a proactive mind-set to achieve our targets and ambitions creatively. You are a strong communicator and, as a team player, you possess strong interpersonal skills. Finally, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
